Calf stretch
Caroline Nilsson is your personal trainer showing you how to do Calf stretch.
Technique
Stand in a strong position and step one large step backward with one foot and place both feet with your toes pointing straight ahead. Tighten abdominal muscles to stabilize, place the weight on the front leg and stamp down the rear foot's heel in the floor with a straight knee. Keep back leg stretched throughout exercise and press your hip forward and down.
Tips
Option - lean slightly forward with your upper body. Be sure to press down the heel. Tighten buttocks and bend your front leg more for a greater stretch effect.
Alternatives
Put your hands against a wall in front of you and press back, perform this exercise the same in general.
